Chief Bonnee reported at the January 15 Board meeting that Dolan Springs resident Michele Waldman is donating $10,000 to the Power Gurney for Meadview effort, leaving it short by approximately $6,300. Chief and the Financial Dept. reported at the December meeting a total of $5,469 received through Power Gurney fundraisers, promoted by Charlotte Kiffer and participated in by LMRFD personnel and Board members as well as donations by local businesses and individuals. A favorite annual event for the LMRFD Fire Chief and his crews is competing in the Kingman Christmas Parade of Lights. Decorated entirely with volunteer time and materials by Chief Bonnee and his crews, they win every year.
